Description
We're looking for a talented email marketing intern with a solid understanding of lifecycle marketing. Someone with the experience to think strategically paired with a "get it done" hands-on approach. If you're an email machine who loves every step, from coding the email to providing the strategy behind our evolving program, we'll look to you to take a data driven approach to making our email communications shine.
* This is not a graphic or web design position.
You will work directly with the founding team, a team of world class designers, experienced technology entrepreneurs and top notch MBAs, and will get exposure to what it takes to build a startup, so good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities
The Lifecycle Marketing intern is responsible for the development, implementation and optimization of DocuHome's email marketing strategies, tactics & programs from B2B Partner Channels to B2C customers.
• Work with internal creative services coding emails. No Design Skills Necessary.
• Extensive experience with HTML to produce emails
• Manage trigger-based lifecycle communications
• Manage touchpoint optimization including; web, email, customer service, partner programs, etc.
• Manage customer early engagement
• Enhance Refer-a-Friend retention programs
• Scheduling marketing emails to be sent
• Ensure that email campaigns continue to have high ISP and inbox delivery rates
• Analyze and monitor email performance and report on key e-mail metrics: deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and response rates
Requirements
• Working towards a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Strong programming skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB, VB.net, Adobe Flex a BIG plus
• Knowledge of Adobe CS Suite, specifically Photoshop
• Using email marketing tools such as MailChimp, ExactTarget, etc. a big plus.
• Strong written communication skills
• Also, working knowledge of the capabilities of social media, would be preferred but not required.
• High-speed PC & internet connection in order to remotely connect to our servers.
