Overview
Seeking creative, self-starting email marketing interns with a strong passion for online marketing and all things Social Media and Virtual Organizations; to assist, under strict supervision and as part of the email marketing team, in the support of VOMI Global Think Tank and Advisory Board and all other internal VOMI marketing initatives. Support activities include the following: 1) help plan, develop and implement worldwide email marketing campaigns to meet established goals; 2) limited copywriting and editing of email content; 3) basic HTML and CSS coding by hand; 4) assist with email database management and upkeep; 5) conduct research on and analysis of effectiveness and best practices of email marketing campaigns and practices. Will also have an opportunity to participate as speaker at global web-media-conferences based on overall background and qualifications. May also be involved, under strict supervision, in planning and/or attending Board meetings; learning and using parliamentary procedures based on Robert's Rules of Order; and recording and transcribing minutes of board meeting; and helping draft board resolutions.
Responsibilities
This is a 30-Day UNPAID Global-Virtual Internship, with a possibility of being extended for up to a maximum period of 90 days based on your initial performance during the first 30 days. Our internship program is Year-Round and is open to all applicants worldwide who meet our strict requirements. All selected interns who have successfully completed the maximum total of 90 days of internship will receive a $1500 stipend for tuition and education expenses subject to meeting other stipend award requirements.

Requirements
Qualification Requirements:
You must be a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate, or graduate student, majoring in Marketing or a related discipline. Must have a passion for email marketing, Social Media, and analytics. Program and project management skills is essential. Basic HTML skills is a must. Basic graphic design skills is a plus. Ability to work effectively and in harmony with colleagues from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds is critical. Must have a min 3.00 GPA in your major or equivalent; a 3.5 GPA is preferred. Admission is limited only to students who will receive course credit for the internship, however, a waiver of this requirement due to extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. As well, we require the following:

• Excellent written and oral communication, research and writing skills.

• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English required, additional language proficiencies (French, Chinese, etc.) are a plus.
