Description
Personality and Area of Interest – We are seeking a video editor with entry-level skills to capture and log footage and add simple graphics. Applicants should speak, read and write English fluently. Can have experience in either Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. Minimal on the job training is offered for advanced editing techniques. You will receive screen credits for projects you complete. First and second-year students encouraged to apply. You should provide a demo reel for consideration.
Responsibilities
Types of projects – Commercial spots, program intros, post-production of television show episodes and pilots, and encoding of files.
Requirements
Skill set – Adobe Premier or Photoshop CS3, CS4 or CS5 or Final Cut Pro 4, 5, or 6. Video operation skills such as Panasonic or Sony HD cameras is a plus. Extensive experience not required, but must have a firm grasp of editing basics and a willingness to learn.
