Environmental Engineer/Microbiologist Summer Internship Program Overview
Our Summer Internship Program provides a wide range of opportunities for current college students who are self-motivated and have a passion for science. We pride ourselves in offering real-world projects and providing students with multiple networking opportunities to help them learn and grow both personally and professionally. You will work on projects that provide first-hand experience of what it is like to work in the biotechnology industry.
Our Environmental Engineer/Microbiologistinternship projects will focus on biological wastewater treatment. This internship focuses on product application and serves as a liaison between Research & Development, Manufacturing, and the Customer. Summer internships are designed to be best suited for students who have completed their junior year of college.
Internships begin May 13, 2013 (or sooner) and end around August 2, 2013 dependent on the project. You must be able to work 40 hours per week for the length of the internship and must be available to complete the entire internship. Students are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
Here’s what it takes:
- Enrollment in a B.S. program for Environmental Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related applicable Scientific or Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (PLEASE INCLUDE GPA ON APPLICATION MATERIALS).
- Hands on, practical chemical laboratory experience including use of analytical equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Anticipated graduation December 2013 or May 2014.
- Ability to work without sponsorship.
