Responsibilities
Intern position would include assisting staff equine therapists in performing daily treatments on horses. Responsibilities would also include daily care of boarded horses including some stall cleaning, feeding, hand walking, wrapping, bandaging, etc.
Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of hands on horse experience. Must feel comfortable performing routine daily horse tasks including walking, wrapping legs, bandaging, giving medications orally, feeding, cleaning stalls etc. Would prefer applicants that have a general understanding of equine anatomy, and are somewhat comfortable speaking in veterinary terminology.
