Booze Carriage is seeking a motivated individual to intern as an Event Planning Intern.
Booze Carriage is NYC's premiere beer, wine and spirits delivery service. We strive to deliver quality items that are the same price as the store to our customers within a 30-60 minute time span. The intern will have the opportunity to work with our team to plan ongoing events, work directly with liquor companies and to further the exposure of our brand. This internship will offer the rare opportunity to have your voice heard while gaining exposure and knowledge about vendor communications, marketing and social media relations within a young, growing company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate online marketing and advertising campaigns and update web sites
- Collaborate with the marketing and social media department to plan events
- Work hands on with liquor companies and attend events
- Brainstorm new ideas to further the exposure of the brand
Requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work with a wide variety of people
- Superb organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Detailed oriented
- Interest in beer, wine, spirits and event planning
