Water Works Restaurant and Lounge is Philadelphia's Landmark Dining Experience nestled behind the Philadelphia Art Museum on the Schuylkill River overlooking historic Boathouse Row. Water Works is not only a spectacular restaurant but also a premier location to host private events and weddings.
Water Works has an unpaid internship opportunity during Fall 2012 for those interested in wedding and event planning. The intern will work with the Catering Department on a wide range of projects; from meeting with clients to researching the latest trends and attending and supporting events. This is a great opportunity to experience working in a fast pace environment for one of Philadelphia's top restaurants and event venues. Under the supervision of the Director of Specials Events and Catering , the intern will be responsible for assisting in various phases of event production and administration. The internship program is designed to provide opportunities for students to learn about all aspects of event and wedding production.
