SF-based tech startup Stitcher, Inc. was founded with the clear goal of revolutionizing the concept of talk radio. Our product – the free Stitcher smartphone app – focuses on streaming, on-demand podcasts and talk radio shows, covering hundreds of topics, including news, sports, entertainment, business and comedy. With more than 5 million downloads and counting, we're a top mobile app in all the major app stores and have announced integration deals with automotive companies like Ford and GM for direct in-car Stitcher connectivity. But more on us later … We’re looking to fill several competitive summer internship slots with current students interested in iOS and/or Android development. Students pursuing bachelors or masters degrees in computer science or electrical engineering with an interest in the mobile space, streaming entertainment or podcasts/talk radio are encouraged to apply! The internship will be paid and located at Stitcher’s offices in the heart of San Francisco’s SOMA district. Experience with any of the following is preferred but not required: • Mobile development • OO programming • MVC design patterns and development best practices • RESTful applications • Media/audio software development • Client/server application development • LAMP application development More on us: We are a venture-backed startup, backed by top-tier investors, including Benchmark Capital and NEA.
