DescriptionJob Description: Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Working toward BS in Electrical/Power Engineering with a minimum 3.25 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), 3.5+ GPA preferred.
* The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of principals, theories and concepts of Electrical/Power Engineering, with an emphasis on low and medium voltage power.
*Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: performance of load flow analysis, voltage drop and short circuit calculations, arc flash calculations (experience with SKM a plus), Industrial medium voltage power transmission, power generation, power system stability, protective relaying, lighting and lighting control systems, power panels, uninterrupted power systems, over current devices coordination, and/or classroom knowledge of NEC codes, NFPA 70 and IEEE standards.
