Job Duration: Fall Term (August 2014 - December 2014)

Compensation: Wage determined by class standing

Job Status: Minimum 32 hours per week

Work Environment: Office

Locations: Southwest Detroit

Students will work with engineers and other office personnel to: budget reconciliation (which includes developing & perhaps implementing enhancements on process for reconciling outside contractor expenses and extensive updating of records in Excel. Coordination of data; analysis of data to determine possible repeat work/trends. Coordination of inspection records against field visit records to determine which customers' meters still need inspections; coordinate data with another process to avoid duplication; determine mailing list for triggering customer calls to schedule appointments for inspections. Additional backup support to leader as needed in various process improvement tasks.

# Qualifications

Students should be majoring in Business Administration, with a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Undergraduate students preferred at junior standing or first- year graduate students. The DTE Energy Co-op Program requires students to be able to complete two co-op rotations, alternating between work and school. Students must have completed their program pre-requisites and are taking courses specific to their major. Students are expected to have above average skills working with Word, Excel, and Power Point.
