We are a NYC-based public relations boutique, and are looking for talented college students or recent graduates for fall 2012 internships. Ideally three to four days a week from approximately 10-4; this would allow you to really get into our day-to-day work. This internship will be very hands-on dealing with clients, writing press releases and contacting reporters. Based in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan, the agency specializes in PR for digital advertising agencies, production and animation studios. Intern responsibilities include drafting releases and other PR materials for clients, tracking media coverage, preparing press kits and briefing books, and conducting industry research. This internship is not the getting coffee and making copies-type, our interns obtain the practical hands-on experience of working with clients and press contacts, attending conferences and direct press outreach.
