Blenheim Hill Farm
673 Blenheim Hill Rd
DescriptionBlenheim Hill Farm is a small-scale diverse farm located in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. The farm was established by the Manhattan-based Smorgas Chef Restaurant with the purpose of providing the restaurants with the freshest and most flavorful produce and meats. Blenheim Hill Farm’s mission is two-fold. In addition to being good stewards of the land and its resources, the farm exists to provide the 300,000 plus guests of the restaurants served each year with natural, sustainable and locally grown produce and meats while simultaneously developing a financially viable model for small-scale farming.
Blenheim Hill Farm’s diverse operations include raising several different types of livestock. We have over 200 chickens for egg production, an ever multiplying herd of pigs, sheep and beef cattle. The farm also is home to a brand new hydroponic greenhouse where we grow tomatoes, lettuce and a myriad of other plants. There are also raised beds for gardening and ten acres of black currants.
Blenheim Hill Farm welcomes interns who are dedicated to our mission. Interns will focus on one or more components of Blenheim Hill’s operations: livestock, greenhouse, gardening, fruit production, or landscaping. We are open to creating specific internship opportunities with those interested to meet the specific academic and time requirements of each student.
