Alpaca Flower is an accessories company that focuses on free trade hand-made products crafted by female artisans in remote areas in the Andes of Peru. Our goal is to promote our products as means of income for the women in Peru. However, fashion is also our passion. Responsibilities of this position include assist in aligning company mission with product offering. Research and provide input and ideas regarding trends and new product design. Assist with selecting new styles, colors, designs and merchandise for each new season. Assist with continuation of company image and branding.
Responsibilities
- Align product categories
- Draw/create patterns or designs
- Research and analyze current line and provide reports to evaluate elimination or development of new products
- Communicate with manufacturing as needed
- Research manufacturing facilities
Requirements
- Passion for fashion and fair trade
- Some experience with fashion and/or accessories design
- Experience designing/drawing
- Possess skills in researching trends, colors, patterns
