DescriptionThe Boston Bazaar is seeking editorial (journalism) interns for our new publication Tosser Magazine.
As an editorial intern you will be responsible for providing content for the website. We are looking for strong journalists to cover stories in fashion and culture (TV, Film, Books, Music). You will be responsible for conducting interviews, pitching stories, blogging, writing trend reports, covering events, etc for Tosser Magazine and The Boston Bazaar.
We are a Boston based company so as an intern based in Chicago you will be working remotely with our Chicago team.

We are only accepting applications for Summer 2013. If you are a student you MUST receive credit for this internship and present proof of that. We will not accept candidates that are not using this internship for credit.
Start and end dates will depend on the start and end dates of your semester.
-Writing content for the website and magazine
-Organizing and submitting copy for publication
-Following the publication schedule and submitting assignments on time
-Attending pitch meetings and coming up with interesting and creative stories/features
-FOR FASHION EDITORIAL - Creating fashion features and trend reporting.
Requirements-Must be a junior or senior currently enrolled in a college/university in good academic standing or graduated (at least a 3.0 GPA)
- A fashion forward individual that not only exemplifies good style but also knows how to dictate it.
-Possess strong skills in writing, presentation, the fundamentals of journalism
-Must be able to prioritize work
-MUST have access to a computer and be able to check email daily
-Must be able to commit at least 20 hours a week
-knowledge of all Microsoft office programs, major social networking sites, and major blogging sites
-Journalism majors PREFERRED but not required (if you are not majoring in journalism you MUST provide writing samples and have previous experience - this can be blogging) Samples, resumes, and cover letters can be sent to Intern[at]thebostonbazaar.com
This internship is very demanding and assignments are extremely time sensitive. Be sure that you can handle the work load before applying.
