As fashion researcher, it is important that you have a wide understanding about the old, new, and existing fashion trends. Fashion researchers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks that are directly associated to fashion coordination, management, and responsible for researching and presenting fashion trends using online blogs, fashion magazines and street style from around the world. *Have bold insights into consumer culture and be a connector/observer with a sharp eye to understand the world of trends. *Gather fashion trend information and build a presentation on vision boards on a weekly base. *Quickly communicate the constant changing facets of the Fashion industry. *Provide feedback on best sellers and determine how we can maximize those looks and satisfy each customer segment with present and future seasons. *Assortments *Expert in how fashion, beauty and entertainment trends intersect. *Be very resourceful and detail oriented. Have on spot-on intuition on what the upcoming trends are going to be. *Expert on colors, styles and accessories coordination. *Passionate Clothing Connoisseur/Innovator *Expert on high-end Designers and their lines *Devise efficient fashion design plans and foster new fashion concepts *Attend runway or fashion shows to acquire new fashion ideas *Visit major manufacturers and merchandise markets to get new information on the latest fashion trends. *Regularly monitor fashion publications and set meetings with designers to keep up with the changing trends. *Evaluate the potential success of a certain clothing line *Coordinate with salespeople, designers and manufacturers *Select garments and accessories that will be used for promotional marketing *Share fashion insights and analysis with buyers to help them choose the appropriate inventory purchases
