The goal in hiring a Manager of Operations would essentially be to provide the owner of EK a “right-hand (wo)man” to assist in ensuring all aspects of the business run smoothly. The MO would be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business including but not limited to: administrative duties (phones, scheduling, meeting coordination), client outreach, liaise with third party vendors, assistance with marketing and promotions, errands, book keeping, private party hosting, client relations in the café, inventory, invoicing, accounts payable and overall administrative management.
The ideal candidate is smart, creative, detail oriented, great with research, able to work in a small start-up environment, has a flexible schedule, works independently, has demonstrated organizational skills, great energy, thick skin, a sense of humor and is able to bring concrete resources and talents to the table to help the business grow. Prefer experience working within culinary environments. Sports and/or entertainment industry experience is a plus. You must be able to work long hours. No kitchen experience is required as this is not a cooking/baking position, but a love of food and entertaining is also a plus.
