Description
New Bay Area based non-profit is looking for an enthusiastic intern to travel to Africa to record and create a film from the projects in remote villages Sierra Leone.
Responsibilities
- travel to remote villages in Sierra Leone with the founder of families without borders
- interview the locals and record all parts of the work
- edit and clean the recorded material in form of a simple documentary
Requirements
- ability to live in extreme difficult circumstances
- prior experience filming and recording events and projects
- prior experience with documentaries
- enthusiastic about humanitarian work and specific interest in African cultures
- willingness to travel during the month of November 2012 for 10-14 days
