Description
The Missouri History Museum is accepting applications from students who are
interested in an on-going un-paid internship with our Moving Image and Sound
Collections department.
Responsibilities
The intern will work on tasks related to inspection, assembly and preservation of
new and preexisting film collections. The intern will gain training and experience
with handling, preservation, record keeping, documentation and review of a
variety of film formats
Requirements
The intern must have visual acuity, good tactile sensitivity and attention to detail.
The desired candidate should have experience in handling various film formats
and some familiarity with the processes and terminology of film production and
distribution.
Candidates should be college or graduate level majoring in American Studies,
Broadcasting/Media Production or American History (20th Century).
