‘The Los Angeles Comedy Festival is the largest comedy festival in the United States featuring film, live comedy and a screenplay competition. Currently in its 10th cycle the festival has, to date, featured over 1800 performers and 400 films from Los Angeles and around the world. Our emphasis is on “discovering” great comedic talent and promoting it to both the entertainment industry and the Los Angeles public. ‘
Responsibilities
The role would include mainly creating short promotional films and/or editing and contributing to weekly podcasts. You may also be asked to help out in other roles such as online promotion and live production.
Requirements
The LA Comedy Festival is currently seeking hardworking and motivated Interns in Los Angeles to help out in its promotional department. We’re offering both Full/Part time, unpaid internships ideal for film students looking to gain experience in the entertainment industry with respect to comedy, live production and independent festival work. Must have a good sense of humor, access to filmmaking and editing equipment.
