Responsibilities
The finance intern will become exposed to a variety of financial duties and functions that will enable him/her to gain real-world experience in the business environment with job tasks including but not limited to: forecast planning, budgeting, tax preparation, the journalizing of company transactions into QuickBooks Accounting software, posting of account balances to the GL, bank reconciliations, preparation of trial & adjusted trial balances as needed, month end closing of company books, the preparation of financial statements to interested users, financial consulting with retirement emphasis (the setting up of ROTH and IRA accounts), etc.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Age 21 yrs and older, No previous felony convictions on background check, Must be enrolled either part-time or full-time at an accredited university or institute, Core curriculum pertaining to finance or accounting, Schedule should be flexible to meet the demands of the finance and accounting profession, Enthusiastic attitude, Consider themselves a team player,
