DescriptionThis financial analyst position will provide resource financial management support to the F-35 Lighting II Program Office. Principal duty is to provide financial and analytical support on financial matters as requested by the F-35 Program Office Business/Finance Director and Deputy Director. This position is responsible for providing analysis, reporting, and presentation of financial data in support of USAF, USN, USMC, International Partner, and FMS resource management as needed. Will be responsible for monitoring available budget resources, budget requirements, financial records reconciliation, unliquidated obligations resolution, CCaRS data input/validation associated with prime contractor and other government costs, and other duties as assigned. Minimal travel is required.
Education/Experience: BS Degree with at least two (2) years financial and budgetary experience supporting the Department of Defense, preferably a joint organization or, at a minimum, a Navy/USMC or Air Force organization is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience with Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRS) also is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are required. Candidate should have good computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office 2003/2007 products with senior level expertise in Excel. Ability to become proficient with Navy ERP financial management system and USAF CRIS financial management system.
