Description
One Love Generation (OLG) is a 501c3 non-profit organization empowering youth to inspire positive social change through art, service and awareness. We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible intern to assist in multiple areas of the organization (min. 20 hours/week, unpaid) including but not limited to:
Event Development & Management (immediate need to have presence at art festivals, fundraisers, etc. This person should have somewhat of a marketing driven mind).
Fundraising assessment and development
Mentor/mentee assessment + development (identifying & developing systems to measure quantifiable results)
Grant writing (support when applicable)
International project planning (immediate need for itinerary planning)
Graphic/video design (to create marketing materials for print & online)
Sponsorship relationships
Responsibilities
- Support and expand public relations with collectors, media contacts, artists and the general public
- Assist in managing event operations
- Assist in management, research, communication and coordination of installations
- Assist during events and receptions
- Maintain website, blog and social media network presence
- Handle and curate artwork
- Mentor/mentee assessment + development (identifying & developing systems to measure quantifiable results)
- International project planning (immediate need for itinerary planning)
- Graphic/video design (preferred, not necessary)
- Develop supporting and positive sponsorship relationships
Requirements
- Studio Arts, Marketing/Hospitality, Business/Accounting, Art History, Communications Majors (preferred)
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication
- Possess multi-tasking and coordination experience
- Passion for art; actively involved in the art community
- Demonstrate attention to details while maintaining perspective
- Have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, basic HTML, MS Office Suite
