A lifestyle embodiment dedicated to helping individuals improve their overall health, ForeverFit believes that if you feel good, you can and will lead an inspired life with great purpose! We do this through incorporating our core values: commitment, discipline, service, and confidence, into each of our programs, special events and personal training sessions.

Initially operating under the technical name 100% Fitness, ForeverFit Inc. began as a sub-brand of 100% Ventures, a business enterprise co-founded by president Jordan Jackson in 2008. After a chain of unusual events that same year, Jordan decided to enlist in the United States Navy where he served as Fitness Commander until his return to the states in 2012. During his time in the Navy he underwent Group Command Fitness Leader training and Special Forces training prior to deploying to the Middle East. Since his return, he has worked diligently to teach and spread the company’s mission to his clients, program attendees and communities around the tri-state area. In turn, ForeverFit has developed into a fully operational personal training group and fitness movement that is steadily gaining momentum across the nation. Over the past year, Jordan and his team have hosted ForeverFit’s signature event, FITNESS FLASH MOB, in Washington, D.C. and several areas around the city of Philadelphia, drawing hundreds of attendees all in the name of fitness.

The Fitness PR Intern will be responsible for:

Scheduling personal training appointments: each day an intern is required to check training session email and respond to any inquiries and schedule any training sessions as advised by Jordan.

Daily Press Recaps: Every afternoon, a quick recap of top media outlets are circulated to the internal PR team in Los Angeles. When asked to do these, please visit the following websites:
a. Philadelphia Inquirer
b. Live Life Active
c. Los Angeles Times
d. LA Weekly

Projects: You will be assigned some of the following projects: press release assistance, media alert assistance, assisting in event planning think tanks, fitness pitch write ups, compiling media lists using Cision's media source.

Events: assist with upcoming special events, especially our signature Fitness Flash Mobs, in and out of the office;
a. IN office tasks: Press and celebrity (if applicable) out reach list compilation, out reach via phone calls, sending e-vites, maintaining RSVP lists, etc.
b. OUT of office tasks: door assistance and red carpet assistance

The internship is designed for sophomores, juniors or seniors and requires at minimum of a three day commitment, for a total of 5 hours per day. During this time, the intern must familiarize themselves with our fitness clients, PR and special events departments. The internship program consists of event planning and attendance, public relations, managing daily office duties, and management of personal training clients.
