GTV is a digital media company combining original content production with a video platform at GTV.COM (and soon in various native App format) for finding, watching and sharing online video content via their television, tablet, mobile phone, or personal computer.
We have a position open for a Graphic Design Intern and are currently evaluating candidates.
The Graphic Design Intern will gain valuable real-world experience in web and entertainment media projects. We are looking for people who are creative problem solvers that thrive in a creative workspace and are analytical, resourceful, self-motivated, and passionate about graphic design and technology. You must be organized, self-motivated, and must have an exceptional level of attention-to-detail.
Part and full time positions available. Schedule can be flexible – however you must be available at least 20 hours per week.
Work from our office in West Hollywood (near the Chateau Marmont) or remotely.
This is an un-paid internship program for school credit, building out your portfolio, and gaining valuable real world experience. All interns successfully completing the program receive official letters of recommendation with job title of Design Associate. Possibility of graduating to paid position.
Responsibilities
During the internship you will be working on:
- Website and channel design
- Mobile, tablet and television App design
(Android, IOS, GoogleTV, Samsung, Roku, etc)
- Banner, print ad and billboard design
- Packaging design for IPTV products
- Motion graphics for online and TV content/commercials
Requirements
Requirements include:
- Experience with PS, InDesign, & Illustrator; Flash, After Effects, and CSS big plus
- Ability to translate conceptual ideas from either creative briefs or wireframes into engaging visual presentations and design
- Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate creative ideas effectively.
- Must be a reliable self-starter who delivers assignments on-time
