This position is for a Graduate Design Automation Intern for the design automation team in the Intel Custom Foundry Group. Intel Custom Foundry Group is Intel's exciting new venture into collaborating with Industry hardware leaders and bringing their products onto Intel's leading edge process technology. The Design Automation team within Intel Custom Foundry Design Team is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of this experience of building the Industry's next generation products. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Help develop automation flows on Industry standard Design Verification (custom and asic verification including but not limited to performance verification, formal verification, reliability validation etc) tools, Custom Design (schematic entry, layout) tools and ASIC Design (synthesis, APR) tools.
Provide productive and efficient methods to solve design problems as they arise.
Drive innovation and initiatives to enhance existing automation, tools and methodology.
The successful candidate must possess a minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Additional qualifications include:
Proficiency in Perl, TCL, Shell scripting
Past work experience in the chip design space.
Through understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
Be able to thrive in a fast paced, challenging environment
Self-driven with ability to prioritize work and accomplish tasks quickly with good problem solving skills.
Must be detail oriented
Solid written and verbal communication for expressing technical ideas and initiatives
Comfortable task switching and managing multiple tasks at the same time
