As a graduate Intern in DTS, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create software tools that meet Intel's specific, rapidly evolving requirements for designing, manufacturing, testing, and packaging silicon products. Ideal candidate should be able to work closely with designers and process engineers, be able to analyze the technical challenges faced in these areas and create proprietary CAD solutions to meet design and manufacturing objectives. The work in DTS spans the complete software life cycle, from early research to mature production code with industrial robustness and quality. As a member of our team, you are expected to deliver critical new features in our established solutions, or to create new CAD capabilities beyond the state of art in the industry. Success in this fast-paced, results-oriented environment requires good communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to perform productive teamwork. Our team develops state of the art diagnosis and debug tools for Intel microprocessors, SOCs and chipsets designs.
In this particular job opening, your responsibilities will include :
- Develop software for next generation diagnosis and debug tools
- Involve in research, path-finding, and solution development for future Intel design and manufacturing technologies
Education: Enrolled in Master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , or Computer Science.
Knowledge of S/W development practices and quality standards
Knowledge of Linux/Unix based S/W development environments tools
Proficiency in C/C++, and scripting languages like Perl, Tcl/Tk, Python
Practical domain knowledge in:
- Logic design principles and VLSI design methodology and VLSI testing and diagnosis
- Testing of digital circuits: design-for-test and test algorithms
- VLSI CAD, including implementation in C/C++ in a Linux/UNIX environment
- Data structures and algorithms, including object-oriented programming
