Producers of the HBO/NALIP Grant-Awarded Documentary, directed by Betty Bastidas, is looking for two interns to get hands-on-experience on DREAMTOWN," which has just finished production and is now in POST.

DreamTown follows Anibal, Carlos and Ulises over the course of three pivotal years—three-players at different stages in their soccer careers—as they learn whether the sport they love will bring them a better tomorrow, or if their dream, like so much else in the lives of Afro-Ecuadorians, proves to be out of reach.

Looking for 1. Transcriber/Translator 2. editor assistant/admin


1. Transcriber will be working with producers and director to complete transcription of documentary's final shoot, which is in Spanish. Upon transcription must be translated from Spanish to English.

2. Editor/Admin Assistant will organize movie clips and sync movie clips to sound.

PLUS the opportunity to contribute and participate in various ongoing projects related to the film.


Great opportunity to get involved in a great socially conscious project and team. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the completion of a feature-length documentary as you continually gain experience and exposure to various aspects of the movie-making process.

NYC-Based INTERNS (Brooklyn or nearby): LOCALS ONLY

Must be disciplined, motivated and have proven organizational skills that will be integral to the last phase of this documentary.

MUST be fully bilingual (Spanish) oral and written in both English and Spanish
Must Know Final Cut and sound editing software
