Description

Supplemental Health Care is a leading provider of staffing services for the health care industry throughout the United States. We are currently looked for an Intern to join our Raleigh North Carolina office as a Health Care Recruiting Assistant. The Raleigh offfice of SHC is a fantastic team work environment. The exposure to tenured recruiting professionals and to the health care industry would be an asset to any one seeking degrees in human resources, business or health care.

Responsibilities

In this role you will learn all about the recruiting and health care industry. You will be responsible for making outbound calls to nurses and therapists throughout North Carolina to tell them about our job openings and the benefits of working with Supplemental Health Care. You may also act as a liaison between health care facilities and the Raleigh office of Supplemental Health Care. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting in the processing of health care compliance paperwork, including but not limited, to reviewing state licensure, health care and education certifications, drug and background checks, employee handbook reviews, etc.

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills - Detail oriented - Ability to multi-task - Must be experienced with MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
