We offer internship programs with health management and fitness client locations for individuals pursuing a degree in health promotion, exercise science, kinesiology, public health, recreation or related disciplines. Internship opportunities are available at most HealthFitness locations, including corporate work-site, hospital, university, and community locations.
HealthFitness and our experienced management team offer rewarding internship opportunities that provide exposure to, or experience in, a wide range of areas, such as:
Health promotion programming
Fitness testing and exercise prescription
Health and fitness motivational seminars
Group exercise class instruction

Requirements• Junior or Senior level student working towards a Baccalaureate or Masters degree in physical education, exercise physiology, kinesiology, recreation, health education, health promotion or related field from an accredited college or university
• Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification required
• Personal Training or Group Exercise certification from ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NSCA or NASM a plus.
• Communication skills to instruct and interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
