Responsibilities
Training is provided by our partner hotels in all departments. You may either choose one specific area or apply for cross-training (several areas). Cross-training is generally the best option if you have never worked in a hotel.
There are generally two types of internships: work experience and management training. If you are going for a longer internship (6-12 months), we can sometimes offer a combination of both (i.e. 6 months work experience+ 6 months management training). We will advise you of your training options once we have reviewed your CV and interviewed you.
Requirements
Whilst our candidates normally include young hospitality professionals or students of hospitality, tourism and business, we also welcome applications from candidates with different backgrounds. Typically candidates do not have extensive working experience within the hotel industry. For management training internships, our partner hotels generally prefer candidats to have a university degree, or to be working towards one. However, lack of academic qualifications is not sufficient in itself to rule out candidates automatically; other attributes, such as work experience and other factors (e.g. languages) are also considered.
