DescriptionThis position will provide an HR Focus on people analytics, metrics and the development of business models and capabilities. In short, to determine, derive, and leverage data to help leaders make better decisions to attract, retain, motivate, and develop our employees.
The position reports directly to the President.
ResponsibilitiesThe intern will be involved in data and requirements gathering, research, interviews, workshops, fact - based quantitative analysis, chart and presentation development, analytics development and creation of approaches to solve problems and improve processes and decision making around people. The opportunity includes the development of consulting and leadership skills through execution of specific tasks within a large program, the ability to work in an agile development environment, and the ability to both contribute and draw on the experience of a diverse set of team skills and experience. This position reports directly to the President
RequirementsSkills requested include quantitative data analysis, analytical modeling, the ability to design processes and approaches, problem solving, collaboration, technology knowledge, research and consulting skills.
Critical thinking, interviewing, presentation and written communication skills are necessary as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively and support and enable teamwork.
Required Experience: • B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations Candidate (Junior/Senior preferred)
•High-tech experience preferred
•Basic knowledge in Quantitative Data Analysis / Analytical Modeling (class coursework or experience)
•Basic knowledge in business process design (class coursework or experience)
•Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
If student has been granted a Bachelor's degree, then that graduate must be enrolled in a Master's program and intending to start that program within nine months.
