Description

Core Responsibilities: ? Supports and encourages others to support the Mission, Core Values and Goals of Health Choice Network. ? Assists and provides support to all members of the HR Department. ? Searches for candidates using large job board databases. ? Updates job postings on job boards and company website. ? Screens resumes and applications. ? Schedules candidates for interviews. ? Coordinates new hire paperwork and makes new hire files. ? Inputs pertinent information into the HRIS system. ? Shares relevant new hire paperwork with payroll. ? Faxes requests for background checks. ? Responds to and makes phone calls and emails regarding HR department. ? Maintains and secures all personnel files, active and terminated. ? Performs all filing and documentation to be in compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures. ? Retrieves terminated paperwork for unemployment verifications. ? Completes special projects as needed.

Requirements

Education, Certifications, Experience and other requirements: ? Graduate/currently enrolled at an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelors degree in human resource management or a related field and a minimum of 1-2 years of HR experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ? Must have knowledge of labor/employment law, FLSA and FMLA. ? Must have demonstrated knowledge of the human resources functions including staffing, compensation, benefits, information systems, recruiting and training & development with strong emphasis on employee relations. ? Experience with HRIS required, ADP HR/Benefits/Recruitment experience preferred. ? Customer service experience/administrative experience preferred. ? Superior proficiency of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. ? Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and execute multiple initiatives independently and as part of a team. ? Highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail and a great sense of urgency. ? Exceptional planning, time management, problem solving and logical troubleshooting skills. ? Culturally sensitive/competent. ? Previous experience working in community health center setting is preferred. ? Society of Human Resource Management membership preferred.
