Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, LLC (MDL) is a CLIA certified clinical laboratory with multiple state licensing, specializing in state of the art, automated DNA based molecular analysis of a variety of chronic and infectious illnesses. MDL specializes and performs Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with a larger menu of testing available in the field of infectious disease. Our main theme of research is in the field of Gynecology, Infectious Diseases, Infectious Arthritis, Tick-borne Diseases, Mycology, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).We are currently seeking a energetic, self-motivated individual to join our Human Resources team.
As an HR Intern, you will be responsible for helping the Human Resources Department with day to day activities.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:o Assist with Recruitment Efforts: forwarding resumes from the jobs box, conducting reference checks, conducting phone screens and sending no thank you letters
o Assemble new hire folders
o Maintain inventory of all HR Forms
o Creation and Maintenance of personnel files
o Assist with electronic files
o Attend Benefits Open Enrollment Meetings
o Assemble benefits packets
o Assist with planning of company events (employee appreciation day, health fair, holiday party, etc.)
o Perform special projects as needed.
Requirements
Requirements:o Currently a college student
o Must maintain confidentiality regarding all information handled!!!
o Excellent computer skills.
o Must be extremely organized and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Outstanding communication and people skills a MUST!
