Position: Human Resources Intern

Pay: Unpaid Internship (Must be using internship for college credit)
Hours: Flexible (8+ hours per week)
Requirements: Must be a college student working towards or interested in Human Resources Management. (Business Majors with HR interest also allowed). Must be registered for internship class credit with your college.

HR Intern Overview - Duties/Projects
HR Duties
-Maintain employee files/filing
-New Hire Orientation- assist HR Dept with organizing and preparing for monthly new hire orientation
-Recruiting - review resumes, assist with reference checks, send out decline letters, etc.
-Assist HR Dept with any ongoing issues/projects
-Mentor with HR Generalist on payroll and assist with calculations, processing, etc.
-Mentor with HR Benefits/Coordinator on benefits/open enrollment, etc.
-Mentor with HR Director on employee relations, performance management, etc.
-Attend HR department weekly meetings (if available)
-Attend other Employee Relations meetings with department members
-Other duties as assigned

Open Enrollment assist Generalist with organizing and employee correspondence
Wellness Committee serve as member and assist HR Coordinator with any wellness challenges and initiatives
Website updates to HR intranet site and Careers section of company website
Assist HR Generalist with implementation of new payroll and HRIS system
