DescriptionJob Description: Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Group Information : We are part of Platform Engineering group working on the Imaging Unit. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters and have an ability to forge a direction in the presence of multiple unknowns and technical challenges.
Goal : The candidate would get to work on the latest Imaging technologies and will be familiar with both the RTL design and FPGA prototyping aspects. He/She will be able to comprehend RTL design/fpga prototyping principles, clocking, transactors and test/validation environments in addition to potentially learning about imaging algorithms.
Skill sets required -
Either/And of the following -
1. FPGA prototyping - Synplify, Xilinx etc
Languages - VHDL system verilog
2. Software/drivers - Exposure would be an added benefit.
3. Test/Validation infrastructure including simulation, writing test benches etc would be a requirement.
4. Ability to understand schematics and design PCB boards
