A small architectural firm with offices located in IL and FL are currently in need of an Intern Architect. Established in the early 1900s, this firm has been concentrating on the design of affordable housing such as supportive and assisted living facilities as well as religious and country club facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get licensed because this will open up the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of an architectural project while gaining their IDP hours.
-Will be responsible for handling a majority of the construction documentation
-Will develop Construction Documentation including some design, specification preparation, detailing
-Creating Architectural reports for various projects, including commercial, multi-unit and low-income housing, and religious facilities
-Must have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Architecture
- Must be proficient in Revit
-Must be proficient in AutoCAD
-1-3 years of professional architectural experience (Entry-Level position)
-Must have the ability to work with little supervision and middle management
-Experience in housing; I.E. multi family, churches, or senior living preferred
