It is also designed to ensure that all communications regarding the company and its business as well as its products and services is coordinated, clear, consistent, on-message, and on-brand. This internship is designed to support the Thought Leadership activities of the Global Communications team. The intern will receive training in various communications responsibilities, and will have impact and add value to the Global Communications function.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Role will include overall support for the head of Thought Leadership content. Projects will include researching and writing material for content (such as executive op-eds, briefings for top executives, and stories for the SAP portal). • Writing and Editing of content • Candidate will be responsible for delivering on time content for various projects with full responsibility for the accuracy, cohesiveness of content • The intern will also support the GC team on other special projects that may arise. • The ideal candidate will commit to a long-term internship up to 6 months if possible, part time or full time.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Skills / Competencies • Effective writing (journalist caliber) is a must • Effective communicator: verbal and written; executive presence - able to effectively communicate with line of business executives. • Creative thinker and strong researcher • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressure/time-sensitive environment • Able to shift gears and re-prioritize based on need Educational Requirements • Candidate must be a current or very recent graduate from relevant Bachelors or Masters program • Preferred majors include Journalism, Communications, or other relevant degree • Prefer candidates with some business course work or experience, a broad interest in the world at large, and a familiarity with macroeconomicsPart time internship
