PURPOSE: To perform duties necessary for the collection and input of accurate data and to assist with recruitment, implementation, and coordination of activities associated with rotavirus surveillance.
Knowledge and skills:
Knowledge of vaccines; principles of clinical research; research data collection. The ability to: communicate in English; maintain good working relationships with a wide variety of health care professionals; demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Also required is a working knowledge of personal computers, including word processing programs, and the ability to be detail-oriented with respect to data collection and documentation, both for clinical, research, and education purposes.
Formal education and work experience:
The formal education normally associated with completely satisfactory performance in this job is a high school diploma or G.E.D. Applicants enrolled in an undergraduate program are preferred.
