At SAP you get your chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact.SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Development team, based in Palo Alto, California, develops and delivers enterprise-level software applications that focus on Regulatory and Compliance Industries worldwide SAP GRC development team is currently working on SAP GRC Analytics, taking advantage of cutting edge SAP In-Memory Computing Technology, also known as HANA. Our new project includes application data analysis and replication, new data modeling initiatives, utilizing HTML5 to compose robust and interactive user interfaces on both mobile and desktop devices, and introducing to the market a wide new range of GRC applications based on our HANA technology. As a Quality Specialist Intern in GRC team, you will gain in-depth understanding and experience through extensive participation in the complete development cycle of a commercial enterprise-level software product. You will be involved in developing/executing testing activities and will conduct manual or automation testing to improve and assure the quality of our development process and GRC products.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• A team player • Engage in development discussion and project planning/review. • Define/Develop test plans, cases or scripts according to business requirement and software specification. • Conduct tests manually or automatically during the development/testing/optimizing phases of GRC Analytics software. • Document and track defects during tests.
Prior internship experience is helpful.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Candidates must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate (junior/senior) or graduate student, or is eligible to begin post-graduate practical training from an accredited institution within a degree-pursuing program this is relevant to the position. • Must have strong communication skills with verbal and written English proficiency. • Able to self-organize own work. • Has Analytic thinking and problem solving skills. • Good understanding of testing methodologies. • Keep contact with development groups for quality improvement. • Strong customer and quality focus. • Decision making and judgment. • Self motivator • Fast learner BENEFICIAL (OPTIONAL) SKILLS TO HAVE: • Experience with SAP ERP software • Knowledge of SAP eCATT, QTP and/or TestpartnerDuration: 6 months
