Description
The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking May 2013 graduate to participate in a year-long rotational program. The intern will participate in the daily operations of the Commission, working alongside NEIWPCC staff in all areas of the organization, rotating through the Wastewater and On-site Systems, Water Resource Protection, Water Quality, Communications and Outreach, and Meetings and Events divisions.
Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, environmental science, environmental engineering, public policy, natural science, public health, earth science, biology, or chemistry. Demonstrated commitment to improving the environment and ability to work with various professionals. Proven ability to complete assignments independently and follow projects through to completion. Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary as well as experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
