The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) - St. Louis Engineering Intern program offers a value-added learning experience to complement university engineering curriculum. Students gain work experience equivalent to that of an entry-level engineer in Flight Engineering. Intern assignments will be directly applicable to the students academic major. Boeing is seeking highly motivated and technically strong individuals to fill flight engineering internship positions at its St. Louis, Missouri location in the summer of 2013. Flight engineering internship opportunities are available on Boeing Military Aircraft and Phantom Works projects such as the F-15 and F/A-18 programs, JDAM and Harpoon weapon programs, Phantom Works research and development programs. These positions include Aerodynamics, Flight Controls, Propulsion, and Mass Properties.

Are you currently enrolled at a college or university in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering?
Typical Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Other Job related information
Students must be majoring in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Students selected will have strong academic performance with a 3.0 or greater cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Boeing - St. Louis Engineering interns are typically hired into the program after completion of junior year of coursework towards their undergraduate degree, however students with sophomore standing may also apply. Applicants should list their current GPA and class standing clearly on their resume. The level of academic performance is expected to be maintained throughout students participation in the program. Students should be available to begin their summer industrial period approximately the end of May 2013 and end the beginning or August (minor timing flexibility based on school schedule may be considered).
