Job Description: We are looking for someone to assist in the development of a start-up speciality clothing company. With our guidance, you will be responsible for conducting materials research, market research, fund-raising opportunities and general office tasks.
Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude that is comfortable multi-tasking, taking instruction and can follow through with assignments. This person also possesses excellent research and writing skills.
ResponsibilitiesSkills Wanted: Ability to conduct research - we will ask you to contact fabric manufacturers and local tailors and clothing manufacturers to request information on goods and services. You will also research prospective grant organizations and foundations for potential fund-raising opportunities. Good writing skills are a must - you will be drafting letters of inquiry to prospective grant-making organizations and foundations.
RequirementsJob Title: Intern / This is a part-time internship - we need someone who can commit to a minimum of 15 hrs/wk.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a 4-year college. Degree or interest in working within the apparel industry and/or start-ups.

Compensation: This is a non-paid internship, however we will work with your school to give you credit for the internship.
