Friendship Force International
127 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 501
DescriptionFriendship Force International (FFI) is a worldwide network of clubs (local chapters) and individuals that advance the mission of promoting global understanding across the barriers that separate people. We do this by connecting people from different countries at the personal level. When local hosts open their homes to visitors from other countries and cultures, true understanding can develop through the sharing of meals, conversation and the routines of daily life. Since its founding in 1977 FFI has brought together millions of people. Friendship Force International is supported by membership, exchange fees, donations, and foundation grants.
We are currently seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join Friendship Force International's headquarters team for a unique and exciting opportunity as a part-time or full-time two/three-month internship position. Standard office hours are Monday-Friday 9am- 5pm although the number of hours (15-30 hours per week depending on the tasks for that period) and scheduling for the intern assignment will be negotiated to fit the intern’s schedule.
Our internship program aims to provide opportunities for you to develop new skills, build work experience and explore new interests on a global level as you help Friendship Force International in our mission. Intern candidates will also have the opportunity to learn about nonprofit business operations, volunteer based organization structure, non-profit media use and digital communications.
