We are looking to hire interns in our editorial and art departments. If you have a background in journalism, marketing, promotions, graphic design, website design, or photography, then we would like to hear from you. Internships are unpaid, but we do consider hiring individuals who display due diligence and excel in their field. Editorial interns will assist in research and writing news stories, interviews, and/or lifestyle coverage. Perks that are associated with internships include being credited with a byline on stories, receiving press passes to events, and participating in phone and/or in-person interviews with various key personalities. Additionally, interns are given access to the music and entertainment industries, which in turn, helps build a portfolio and clip sheet for your resume. While being enrolled in college is a plus, it is not required. Internship periods vary and temporary tasks can evolve into permanent iReviewHipHop employee positions, after the internship is complete.
