The CO*OP Showroom Orange Domino and Simpatico is a full service showroom dedicated to representing and marketing hip contemporary brands with a clear vision and distinct style.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain practical and valuable experience in the fashion industry. We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, and reliable intern.
*This is for an immediate internship, so it is important that you are ready to hit the ground running! At this time we will no longer respond to applications for summer or fall internships.*
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Showroom preparation and maintenance
- Assist in the preparation of NYC tradeshows
- Work NYC tradeshows
- Find new prospects through internet, magazines and local store visits
- Merchandise/Organize collection based on visual team’s direction
- Assist seller during tradeshows and showroom appointments
- Prepare and managing various email tasks
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPECTATIONS:
- Basic understanding of wholesale, sale and market
- Strong computer skills (Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Word...)
- Reliable, organized and attention to detail
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to commit to three days a week, Mon-Fri for 3 months
- This is an unpaid internship, however we can offer credit for school’
- Compensation for lunch and public transportation fare provided
