JUMPSTART IS NOW HIRING! Jumpstart is an AmeriCorps program that recruits college students to work with 3-5 year old children. Read books, sing songs, and play games that support young children’s language and literacy development, and potentially earn an AmeriCorps education award of up to $1,132 in the process. Jumpstart Corps members work 8-12 hours a week early childhood centers, partnered with a small group of children. Summer interns serve 30 hours per week for 10 weeks during the summer.
