Responsibilities

We are opening several coveted internship roles to take on entry level reporting projects, research and data entry. Editorial interns spend most of their time researching story leads and facts on the Internet, writing, fact-checking, copy editing, and reviewing editorial submissions and correspondence. We are looking for interns with exceptional writing and editing skills, sharp analytic skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, database programs and Internet research. Interns have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in multimedia publishing, writing engaging content, optimizing text and headlines for search engine optimization, acquire short published clips and gain exposure to many aspects of online magazine publishing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Entry level reporting projects • Research and data entry • Proof posts and edit for content, style and editorial voice. • Produce graphic layouts, handle formatting and merchandising. • Opportunities to write original posts.
