We are a tech start-up based in Silicon Valley looking for a Journalism/PR Intern who is interested in covering the tech and start-up world. Our interns are critical in helping build content central to our growth. As an intern, you will be responsible for discovering, curating and testing business tools/apps (i.e. basecamp, dropbox, mailchimp, etc) and writing descriptions and reviews on these products. You will also be responsible for reaching out to and interviewing tech start-up ceo/founders, VC’s, tech bloggers, key influencers in Silicon Valley, Silicon Alley and other major tech start-up hubs. Ideally, you would be able to commit to 2 days a week for about 2 or 3 hours each day. You’ll get a chance to learn how a fast-growing start-up operates and work with a fun, young team.
