MyRight's goal is to become the WebMD of legal advice. We will be the first legal website that engages users with simple questions, instead of heavy reading. Our evaluations will give results in a matter of clicks, not days. We plan on revolutionizing legal information in a way that has never been done before.
MyRight is a rapidly progressing legal start-up in need of bright, self-motivated individuals that seek real hands on experience. If you're interested in law and business, this is a perfect opportunity to learn about both. If you are looking for substantial experience in legal research and writing, you will get it. You will also get plenty of writing samples from this internship.
Responsibilities
*Researching statues and case law
*Interviewing practicing attorneys
*Writing memoranda
Requirements
*In law school or a law school graduate
*Attention to detail
*Ability to work without supervision
*Self-motivated and organized
*Proficiency in Westlaw of LexisNexis
*Preferred GPA: 3.1 or higher
*At least 20 hours a week. We are flexible.
