Description

LiquiTec is looking for a qualified intern to join our team. The intern will be working in a division of our company that helps companies maximize their return on investment from the sale of excess or non-strategic assets. Our internship will allow you to participate in the entire asset management life cycle. You will learn specifically about sourcing potential opportunities and the techniques and strategies needed to acquire assets. You’ll walk away from this internship understanding transaction lifecycles, structuring joint venture partnerships, managing an opportunity pipeline, and sourcing potential deals. Additionally you will be taught workflow management, how to architect and improve internal processes, along with asset and time allocation. You also will be exposed to all the major players along the finance spectrum including but not limited to private equity groups, large banks, middle market non-bank lenders, corporate c-suite management, and turnaround and management consulting groups.

Responsibilities

The Acquisitions Assistant intern will assist our Senior Associate by managing the lead pipeline, sourcing opportunities and monitoring deal progress, as well as communicating directly with the senior management of corporate targets. Present to management and associates information regarding the movement, fluctuations, deadlines and other pertinent information pertaining to ongoing deals. • Acquisition Structuring: crafting engagement/purchase proposals, structuring joint venture partnerships, organizing exit strategy, pro forma projections and profitability hurdles. • Process Management: assisting in the development and implementation of internal workflow and communication systems and protocol. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of the acquisition life cycle, asset disposition strategies, and project management. This position will require interns to be comfortable making outbound calls to senior management. Applicants should be comfortable in a telephone based communication environment.
